You design it here, before you buy

1. Add the route. Connect Strava and pick the activity, or upload a GPX file. The route draws itself onto the map.
2. Watch the numbers fill themselves in. Distance, finish time and elevation gain are read from the route file wherever it carries them. Type over any of them, or leave them blank.
3. Add the words. Their name, the race, the date. Pick the colour of the route line.
4. Choose your size and frame colour, and order. What you see on screen is what we print. No proofs, no email to chase.

Everything on this print is set by you, on this page, before any money changes hands. Change it as many times as you like. Nothing goes to production until it looks right to you.

Any race route, anywhere in the world

There is no list of races to pick from, because there does not need to be one. The route map is built from the GPS track of the race they actually ran, so a first local 10k works exactly the same way as a world major. Two ways to get it onto the print, and both take about a minute.

Connect Strava and pick the run or ride straight from the activity list. Nothing to download, nothing to hunt for on a computer.

Or upload a GPX file. Open the activity in a watch or training app, look for Export or Share, and choose GPX. Garmin, Apple, Nike, Coros and the rest all export one.

We draw the map from that file rather than tracing it by hand. That is exactly what makes it theirs, down to the last corner.

What the print actually says

The race name sits at the top in a large serif, their name and the date beneath it. Below that runs a row of three: distance, time, elevation gain. Small bronze labels over larger near-black numbers.

Distance and elevation are read from the route file and shown in miles and feet. Prefer kilometres and metres, or want to swap a chip time in for the raw file time? Every one of those three boxes stays open for you to type over, unit included.

The route line itself is drawn in your chosen colour over a quiet, flat map on a warm cream field. Cover the names and the numbers and it still reads as a piece of cartography worth hanging. Add them back and it becomes one specific hard day.

Questions

Where do I get the route file?

Two places, and only two. Connect Strava on this page and pick the activity from the list, or upload a GPX file exported from a watch or training app. Look for Export or Share, then GPX. If neither is to hand, most race websites publish the official course as a GPX and it prints beautifully.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. That is the whole point. Add the route, type the words, and the finished piece appears on screen. It prints exactly as you see it, so there is no proof to wait on and nothing to approve by email.

Can I change the distance or the finish time?

Yes. Distance, time and elevation gain are filled in from the route file to save you the typing, and all three stay editable. Type over any of them. Whatever you type is what we print, so include the unit, like 26.22 mi or 42.20 km. Add the route first, then edit, because a new route file refills those boxes.

Does it work in kilometres?

Yes. The boxes fill in miles and feet by default, and you can type metric straight over them.

Will it arrive ready to hang?
